This week we finished up the shafts for the wheels and attached them and the wheels to the main frame of the robot. Most of the other stuff we have to get done now doesn't impede on the other departments' needs so we will be working on that between now and competition. Most of this includes bumpers, bumper mounts, and some other simple adjustments. We also put in a different spacer between our two speed transmission to save weight and have started locktighting our parts so that the nuts don't come loose. Saturday we tested the drive up on blocks with the code and wiring and it all looked awesome, so congrats to everyone who has put in hard work to make this robot come to life. Keep up the great work team.

This week has been a busy one for drive train. We've gotten a lot of work done, and hope to finishing up soon. We have 10 complete assemblies of wheels including spacers, hubs, bearings, and sprockets. Two of our eight wheels are on live shafts with a hub, while the other 6 are on dead axels with bearings. We completed attaching the brackets, that support the wheel shafts, to the main frame. We are almost finished with our wheel shafts, and then we plan on attaching all the wheels to the frame and making some final adjustments to the transmissions.
