Rocky Mountain Robotics has developed an organizational structure using a business model. Like any corporate operation, production of a number of quality products within time and budget constraints contributes to our success.
The organizational structure described below has evolved over several years and will continue to develop. Its basic premise is to allow the students to lead the team with the adults providing guidance and assistance. With this in mind, the team leadership consists of two groups: the adult Board of Directors and the student executive team.

The Rocky Mountain Robotics team is divided into a number of departments to make the most efficient use of the resources available. Each department is headed by a student vice-president (VP) and a member of the Board of Directors in most cases. All students are assigned to a department.
